Eligbility: Index as per C.S.J.M. University Norms. Index points will be calculated as below :

1.Markes obtained in all the theory papers in all the science subjects having practical in part I,II,III combined.

2. 50% of the marks obtained in the praticals of all subjects in part I,II,III combined.

3. In case of non-practical subjects offered at B.Sc. level 80% of the total marks shall be added in the index.

4. Markes obtained in the theory papers of the subjects in which the admission sought in part I,II,III combined.

5. 50% of the marks obtained in the pratical of all subjects in which the admission is sought in part I,II,III combined.

6. While calculating the index number of applicant coming from the institution not affiliated to C.S.J.M. university,kanpur . If the marks in the theory and practical are not mentioned seprately in the marksheets, 80% of the marks both in aggregate and in the subject concered will be taken into consideration for calculating index.

7. The markes of internal assessment and sessional of tutorials shall not be taken into account for calculating index.

Following additional marks shall be added in the index :

(i) Marks should be given for High School & Intermediate Examination according to following table :

High School / X class	50% <= marks < 60% 60% <= marks < 70% 70% <= marks	5 points 10 points 15 points
Intermediate/ XII class	50% <= marks < 60% 60% <= marks < 70% 70% <= marks	10 points 20 points 30 points

(ii) 10 marks for applicants from the same college .

(iii) 10 marks for applicant from college affiliated to C.S.J.M. University kanpur.

(iii) 20 marks for being sons/daughters of teachers/employees of the same college.

(iv) 10 marks for being sons/daughters of teachers/employees of the college affiliated to C.S.J.M. University kanpur.

Admission Criteria: Admissions will be on the basis of merit/entrance exam.
