CULTURAL COMMITTEE
The Cultural Program Committee of the college is instituted in accordance with the directives of the Honorable Chairman and the Managing Committee, aligned with the stipulations set forth by the UGC/Government. Within this committee, a convenor and members are nominated by the principal, forming a cohesive team responsible for conceiving, guiding, and executing all cultural, creative, and literary initiatives within the institution. The committee orchestrates a ceremony designed to not only acknowledge but also uplift the morale of high-achieving students in academic pursuits.
The Cultural Committee is unwavering in its commitment to the comprehensive development of students, strategically organizing a spectrum of extra-curricular activities on campus. This multifaceted approach aims not only to dispel stage fear but also to nurture a sense of confidence, subsequently contributing to heightened academic performance. Beyond the academic realm, the positive impacts extend to mental well-being, encompassing a reduction in depression and anxiety, thereby fostering a positive influence on all those associated with the committee.
Objectives:
- Motivation and Participation: Motivate and afford opportunities for all bona fide students to actively participate in diverse cultural events at intercollegiate, University, District, State, and National levels.
- Leadership Skills Development: Cultivate and enhance leadership skills among the student body.
- Artistic Expression Platform: Provide an influential platform for students to showcase their multifaceted talents and articulate their thoughts and emotions through various performance arts, including dance, song, and mimicry.
- Enrichment of Cultural Environment: Foster a culturally enriched environment and promote a sense of community within the campus
Duties and Responsibilities of the Cultural Committee:
The committee’s mandate encompasses the meticulous preparation of a comprehensive list of cultural programs throughout the academic session. This involves the identification and selection of talents through a series of diverse cultural programs. In tandem with scholastic pursuits, the committee ardently endeavors to position the college at the forefront of cultural activities, ensuring active student participation in the organization of cultural programs, both university/college-centric and in accordance with government directives.
