About Us
Pt. Prithi Nath (PG) College (formerly known as PPN College) is a postgraduate college founded in the year 1959 and is now reputed as one of the most prominent educational institution in Uttar Pradesh. It is the only college affiliated to CSJM University accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
It is located at Mall Road, Parade, Colonel Ganj, Kanpur of Uttar Pradesh state. It is affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj (C S J M) University, Kanpur and approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC. It is founded by reputed advocate and educationist Devendra Swarup and managed by P.P.N. Memorial Society; P.P.N. College is one of the premiere educational institutions of Uttar Pradesh.
Pt. Prithi Nath Chak
Pt. Prithi Nath Chak, born in 1858 in Unnao, was founder of Kanpur Bar Association. The college is an outstanding memorial of his contribution to education.
Mr. Devendra Swarup
Late Devendra Swarup Ji established this college in 1959 in memory of his 'Guru' Pt. Prithi Nath Chak. He was also the MLC of Uttar Pradesh from 1958 to 1964.
