Medical Cell

The college administration prioritizes the provision of medical assistance during emergencies, maintaining a setup for addressing minor health issues among staff and students. In the event of an emergency, immediate first aid is administered, and individuals are promptly referred to nearby private hospitals, several of which are multi-specialty facilities within a 5-kilometer radius. The town’s 24-hour emergency ambulance service ensures swift response times, reaching the campus within 5 minutes. The cell focuses on the sanitation and hygiene of the college campus.

Objectives:

  • To ensure first-aid to the students, teaching and non teaching members at the hour of need.
  • To coordinate with the family of the students and the nearest hospital at crisis situations.
  • To aware the students on health and wellness by organizing Seminars and workshops concerning health, hygiene and sanitation.
  • To organize health check-up camps in the college.
  • To organize blood donation camp in the college.
  • To encourage the students to take up leading role in providing health care and responsibilities for community services.

Vision:

The Cell aims to bring the college to a level of commanding height which will be recognized as the symbol of eco friendly and a highly hygienic unit that could be a role model for the society at large.

Mission:  

The Cell aims to increase the knowledge and ideas about the concept of health and sanitation issues affecting not only the students of the college, but also the people of the surrounding areas. The Cell promotes hygienic and healthy lifestyle among the students and the surrounding community by organizing various In-house and outreach programs by means of Workshops, seminars, Symposia, etc. and so on. In this regard the Cell collaborates with different NGOs, Hospitals and Clubs of the district to organize various camps such as Free Health Camp, Eye Camp, Dental camp, First-aid activities and Blood Donation Camp etc. within and outside the college premises.
